• France v England

Venue:
• Eden Park

Transport:
• Crowds using trains and special event buses from the England v France match were cleared within 55 minutes, 15 minutes earlier than the target of 70 minutes.
• Transport to and from the match at Eden Park ran smoothly. Transport in and out of Auckland CBD also ran well throughout the day, as people headed to Diwali in Aotea Square and Fanzones on the waterfront.
• Roads in the area experienced moderate traffic for a major event at Eden Park and flowed well. All roads in the area were reopened within 69 minutes.
• A total of 22,290, 45% of the crowd, used public transport after the match at Eden Park. Special event buses carried 9,280 and 13,010 used trains after the match.
• All crowds using trains and special event buses were cleared within 55 minutes of the match finishing.
• About 2000 used taxis and 2,925 used coaches.

Fanzones
1. Waterfront Fanzone s (Queens Wharf, Captain Cook Wharf, Wynyard Quarter Fanzone)
• Queens Wharf was moderately busy during the evening
• A peak crowd of 12,300 came to waterfront Faznones
• Captain Cook Wharf opened prior to the 6pm match

2. Northern Lights :
• A total crowd of 4600 attended the Fanzone throughout the afternoon and evening
• The mood of the crowd was relaxed

3 Southern Seas :
• A total crowd of 7200 attended Fanzone throughout the afternoon and evening
• The crowd included many family groups


4 Outrageous West :
• A total crowd of 1300 attended the Fanzone during the afternoon and evening

Fan Trail report:
• An estimated 7800 people walked to the match along the Fan Trail
• Good numbers of match patrons used parts of the Fan Trail to leave the game

Police report:
• 17 evictions from Eden Park (10 by police and 7 by security), no arrests
• 14 evictions from Queens Wharf, no arrests
• Three evictions from the Southern Seas Fanzone and 10 people refused entry at that venue. Four arrests.

Fire report:
• No RWC 2011 related incidents reported

St John report:
• 34 people attended to at Eden Park, two transported to hospital
• Eight people attended to at Queens Wharf, two transported to hospital
• 14 people treated at regional Fanzones, three transported to hospital
