Tomorrow The Mo-Vement Begins!

Tomorrow The Mo-Vement Begins!

Top lips across the country are right now aquiver with anticipation as tomorrow Movember kicks off, which will see a nationwide shave down signaling the beginning of a Mo-mentous month of moustachery.

Movember, which raises vital funds for the Cancer Society and Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand was established in Australia in 2003 and has now grown to a global phenomenon, garnering support for Mo Bros and Sistas from 14 countries.

On the 1st of Movember any Mo Bro taking part must be clean shaven, so Auckland’s Britomart precinct will see a mobile shave unit setting up in the courtyard outside of Ernst & Young from 12pm – 1:30pm for anyone in need of a shave down.

New Zealand Movember Manager, Rob Dunne says “We’ve already got some incredible Mo Bros & Sistas registered with some really great fundraising ideas, and this year we want to raise more than ever for the worthy cause of men’s health issues.”

Recent breaking Mo News includes an exciting Mo app available for all smart phones, which allows tracking of donations, Mo Space management, style guides and more. Also the announcement of New Zealand’s golden boy of the moment: Richie McCaw will be jumping onboard the Mo Train and offering a signed official All Black jersey to one lucky person who donates on his Mo Space page.
