Rydges Wellington Voted Country’s Best in Hospitality Marketing Taking Out National Award For Excellence

Rydges Wellington has scooped the Hospitality Association of New Zealand (HANZ) awards and been voted the country’s best in marketing, taking out the national award for excellence.

The 280 room Featherston Street hotel property clinched the prestigious award after being recognised as an industry leader in marketing and communications.

Rydges award winning submission showcased a fully integrated strategy based on tactics ranging from direct marketing to savvy social media examples that have collectively achieved brand awareness, online engagement and differentiated Rydges Wellington in the marketplace .

Since opening its doors in March this year, Rydges has quickly gained competitive market share and continued to dominate in the Capital with memorable campaigns such as ‘Wellington’s Newest Landmark Hotel’ and ‘Live Like a VIP’.

The hotel’s clever promotions have made a splash and caught the attention of many from engaged Facebook fans to primetime coverage by the state broadcaster (http://www.flickr.com/photos/rydgeswellington/5749078439/in/set-72157626659420513).
