Sunny Saturday for Five Lotto Winners from Auckland and Christchurch
The weather has been sunny and warm for most of the country today and for five winners in Auckland and Christchurch, the warm feelings will continue after each winning $200,000 on tonight’s Lotto draw, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
“As the temperature around the country begins to heat up, these winners in Auckland and Christchurch could be thinking of splashing out on a summer holiday, a trip to the islands or a flash new boat to enjoy over summer,” says Mr McLeay.
The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Ostend Store, Waiheke Island in Auckland, Phoenix Dairy in Auckland, Sima’s Superette in Auckland, Countdown Eastgate in Christchurch and Beckenham Lotto in Christchurch.
Powerball First Division has jackpotted tonight so will be worth an estimated $5 million next week.
Strike Four also jackpots this week to $200,000.
Meanwhile, Wendy and Phil from Napier won $150,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel on the live draw this evening.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Nawton Stationers and Lotto in Hamilton. The serial number is 266-44122409-20xx.
Anyone who bought their ticket from the above winning store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
