Night-time closure for Resolution Drive
Resolution Drive, one of Hamilton’s main arterial roads, will be partially closed for two nights next week to complete resurfacing work.
Hamilton City Council Transportation Manager Phil Consedine said the work will be the final phase of resealing, after reconstruction work undertaken in January.
The first coat of seal required time to cure, and the work to take place next week will see application of asphalt.
“The closures will be from 6pm to 6am on Wednesday 7 March and Thursday 8 March, weather permitting,” Mr Consedine said.
Detours will be
in place, and electronic signs will advise motorists of the
closure of the lanes and alternative
routes.
