Chiefs to Visit Bayfair Shopping Centre

March 2012

The Chiefs Super Rugby team will be visiting Bayfair Shopping Centre this week to meet and greet fans ahead of their match against the Brumbies on Friday 16 March at Baypark. The team will be holding a signing evening at Bayfair on Thursday 15 March, from 4pm to 6pm.

Fans will have the chance to meet the whole team, with one half visiting between 4pm and 5pm and the other half of the team between 5pm and 6pm. Promotional material will be given out for fans to present to players for autographs, and there will be the opportunity to have a photo taken with a favourite player.

Chiefs CEO Gary Dawson says, “Getting out in the community is an important part of the Chiefs community engagement plan. We are looking forward to interacting with our supporters and generating further excitement for the game on Friday. Opportunities like this are a great way to of saying thank you to our loyal fans.”

Bayfair marketing manager Nina Rivett says it is a pleasure to be hosting the Chiefs at the centre. “We recognise that the fans mean a lot to the team and Bayfair is a great place to bring the players closer to the community.”

The Chiefs play the Brumbies at 7.35pm on Friday 16 March at Baypark Stadium. Tickets to the match are available from Baycourt, TECT Arena at Baypark Stadium and other selected outlets. Prices start from $12 for Kidzone adult and $5 for Kidzone child 14 years and under, plus service fee. Kids four and under are free on the knee. Other adult tickets start from $20 plus service fee. Gates open at 5.35pm.
