Life Flight Trust Winches an Injured Hunter from Pohangina

At 11:30am this Morning the Life Flight Trust responded to Pohangina North of Palmerston North to a 41yr old Female who had been on a hunting trip when she injured her eye and was unable to walk out.
Life Flight responded with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic on board the Westpac Rescue Helicopter
The Helicopter Crew was able to winch the Paramedic down into a clearing where the patient was. After a quick assessment the patient and Paramedic were winched back into the Helicopter.
The patient was then flown to Palmerston North Hospital Emergency Department where she is being treated for her injuries.
