West And East Auckland Residents Enjoy Motat Free in May

Auckland East and West residents can look forward to fun and interactive experiences for free at MOTAT during May.

As MOTAT’s way of saying thanks to the ratepayers of Auckland for their support throughout the year, this initiative will encourage them to explore the constantly changing exhibitions and activities that MOTAT has on offer.

From May 1-31, Auckland East and West residents will gain free entry to MOTAT by presenting vouchers that will appear in local papers and letter boxes throughout the month, vouchers available at local libraries, or by displaying their rates bill or proof of address on entry. A list of eligible suburbs can be found on the MOTAT website, www.motat.org.nz.

May is a great time to visit MOTAT with plenty of activity and exciting exhibitions on the go. Every Sunday visitors can see MOTAT’s resident blacksmith at work or take home a souvenir printed onsite in the MOTAT printing press workshop. And additional activities occurring on Sunday 20th May include military vehicle rides, a children’s bookbinding workshop and even a lollymaker!

Location
MOTAT, Great North Road and Meola Rd, Western Springs, Auckland.

Costs
Free entry for Auckland West and East residents on presentation of a voucher/advert, a rates bill or proof of address. See www.motat.org.nz for terms and eligible suburbs.
