PSA Welcomes New DPMC Head
The Public Service Association is welcoming the appointment of Andrew Kibblewhite as the new Chief Executive of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
The PSA says it has always had a very constructive relationship with him in his current role as Treasury Deputy Secretary.
As one of the lead agencies in the public sector the role of chief executive of the DPMC is a critical one.
PSA National Secretary Brenda Pilott says “at a time of cutbacks and large scale change within the public sector there is a need for strong collaboration on the delivery of better public services. Andrew’s strong background in policy and his solid public sector understanding will be extremely valuable.”
“We look forward to continuing what is a very positive relationship with him as he embarks on this new challenge,” she says.
