Mid-Winter Celebrations for Four Lotto Winners
Mid-Winter Celebrations for Lotto Winners in Auckland, Thames, Te Puke and Ashburton
With the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year behind them this week, four Lotto players in Auckland, Thames, Te Puke and Ashburton have another reason to celebrate tonight after winning $250,000 each on Lotto First Division, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.
The tickets were sold Diorella Superette in Auckland, Paper Plus Thames in Thames, Te Puke New World in Te Puke and Tinwald Superette in Ashburton.
Powerball First Division has jackpotted this week and will be worth an estimated $6 million next week.
Strike Four was not struck this week and has jackpotted to an estimated $300,000.
Meanwhile, Mary, a great-grandmother from Christchurch, spun and won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington tonight.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Royal Oak Mall Lotto in Auckland. The winning serial number is 490-13899810-20XX.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
