Gold Medal Feeling for Six Lotto First Division Winners

As the London Games are officially open, six Lotto First Division winners will have a gold medal feeling after winning $166,667 each in tonight’s Lotto draw, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.

“The New Zealand team have a great chance at winning some medals and we’re thrilled to have made these Lotto winners $166,667 richer tonight,” says Mr Pickup.

The tickets were sold at Awanui Junction Dairy in Awanui, Tom’s Lucky Lotto Shop in Takapuna, Peninsula Price Cutter in Auckland, Super Seven Supermarket in Palmerston North, Haven Road Store and Lotto in Nelson and Renwick Dairy in Renwick.

Powerball First Division has jackpotted and will be worth an estimated $6 million next week.

A Strike Four prize of $954,380 was shared by two winning tickets in Auckland and Wellington. The tickets were sold at Manukau Pak’n’Save in Auckland and MyLotto in Wellington. Each winner is now $477,190 richer.

Meanwhile, Euan from Auckland, spun a fantastic $100,000 on the Winning Wheel.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.

Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Mobil De Luxe Ford in Wairoa. The winning serial number is 468-64761615-20XX.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
