• Southern Line – buses replace all trains

Replacement rail bus services will be provided on the day and special timetables will be in place for them. Buses will be marked Rail Bus. All valid tickets and passes currently accepted on trains can be used on rail bus replacements.
For full details go to www.at.co.nz or phone 09 3666 400. Details are also available at stations.

KiwiRail is carrying out maintenance at Mt Lebanon Lane, Henderson which will involve an excavator and closing some of the road. They will also be checking overhead electric lines at several points along the rail network. This work can only be carried out when trains are not running.

Upgrade work at Mt Albert Station will also be carried out.

Given the significant amount of work to be done, closures on Auckland's rail network will be a regular occurrence for the foreseeable future. The next scheduled network closure is Easter weekend from Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April 2013.
