Challenge Vertigo: Len’s final launch

This Saturday, 20 April, marks the end of the fundraising campaign Challenge Vertigo: Len’s Launch for Extraordinary Minds. Len Ward, Gifted Kids Chair, will complete the challenge by doing the Sky Jump off Auckland’s Sky Tower.

The details of the event are as follows:

When Saturday April 20, 2pm – Jump is at 2.30pm Where Sky Jump, Sky Tower, Auckland City Who Len Ward, Deb Clark, Students from Gifted Kids Auckland classes and their families, Len’s supporters.


The fundraiser was run throughout February and March to help raise awareness of the challenges gifted and talented students face in New Zealand.

“Many gifted students struggle educationally and socially and we hope that we can help change that in New Zealand. We know our programme has helped so many already but there is a long way to go and every little bit counts toward reaching gifted kids in New Zealand.” Deb Clark, Gifted Kids, CEO says.

“We are very thankful to Len and all the kind, generous donors, who have supported us through February and March. This money will go a long way in helping to resource our classrooms in 2013. I look forward to being there to support Len in his final challenge.”


Gifted Kids was founded in 2000 to meet the educational and social needs of gifted children in New Zealand. Gifted Kids delivers services in Northern Wairoa, Auckland, Rotorua, Masterton, Hutt Valley, Wellington, Dunedin, and Invercargill.
