Have your say on the new public transport network

Welcome to our first newsletter

Over the next few years Auckland Transport is moving to a simpler, more integrated new public transport network for Auckland.

The New Network will change the way people travel. It is a region wide public transport network which is proposed to deliver bus services at least every 15 minutes throughout the day, seven days a week on major routes between the hours of 7am to 7pm.

It will allow more passengers to simply 'turn up and go' rather than planning trips around a timetable, offering Aucklanders more flexible travel options over large parts of the city all day, every day.

Due to the scale of change, consultation and implementation for the New Network has been broken into several phases. We’re starting with South Auckland’s network and will soon begin consultation.

To help you understand what the New Network will mean for you, we've released a video guide. You can view it here: http://www.aucklandtransport.govt.nz/newnetwork

These newsletters will be used to keep you informed during the consultation process.
