Wairakei Resort Hosts Inaugural Winter

Wairakei Resort Taupo is pleased to
announce the inaugural Taupo Winter Fest Ball on August
24th.
The Winter Fest Ball will form part of the wider Taupo Winter Festival that will provide events and entertainment over a three day period starting August 23rd.
General Manager Kathy Guy is pleased to be able to be providing Wairakei Resort as the venue for this special event.
“We are looking forward to providing a great nights entertainment and experience for all, doing what we do, extremely well.”
“We would like to see this become a yearly event as part of the Taupo Winter Festival Event Calendar.”
New Zealand’s well known Mermaids Band will provide entertainment and tickets cost $125.00 per person. This includes a winter themed buffet dinner, a four-hour beverage package and entertainment.
Wairakei Resort, on the night of the event, is also offering a “Winterfest” stay at Wairakei rate of just $125.00 for those locals who want to make a night of it and save the drive home until morning.
