Steady rain (3-4mm/hour) is continuing to fall across the Canterbury Plains and along the foothills slowly moving southwards. At this time ECan does not expect there to be any "out of river" flood problems. Anyone in or around riverbeds, or the Halswell drainage district, should however remain wary of rising water levels.
