The Roxy Auctions Cake For Charity

Wellingtonians can have their cake and eat it too—all for a great cause, Ronald McDonald House Wellington!

The Roxy Cinema and Coco at the Roxy are auctioning a 1920s-inspired cake designed by The Stiletto Studio.

The cake was featured at The Roxy Great Gatsby Charity Ball, held at the iconic cinema on Friday 14 June.

The three-tier custom-made chocolate cake, is being auctioned on Trade Me with bids closing on Saturday 22 June.

“The Roxy is excited to continue its support of Ronald McDonald House Wellington and allow fellow Wellingtonians to taste the amazing fare of The Stiletto Studio. The cake is truly a work of art,” says Cesar Breton, General Manager of The Roxy.

“It had pride of place in our box office during The Roxy Great Gatsby Charity Ball held on Friday night. Guests were able to feast their eyes on the cake but it was a case of ‘hands off!’ Bidding on this exquisite cake has started at $100 with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Wellington,” he says.
