Management Work-Shop Cancelled
A community work-shop on Wednesday (19 June) in Waimate to discuss local water quality and water use has been cancelled.
The cancellation is due to the recent heavy rain that has fallen around Canterbury over the past few days, closing many roads and bridges.

The regular monthly meeting of the Lower Waitaki South – Coastal Canterbury Zone Committee was also to be held prior to the work-shop. This has been cancelled as well. If you would like more information on the zone committee visit www.ecan.govt.nz/canterburywater .
Both the zone committee meeting and community work-shop to discuss water quality and use in the South Canterbury Coastal Streams area are expected to be rescheduled to 31 July.
The new meeting details will be advertised in local papers in due course.
