Dyers Pass Road closed, from Takahe to Governors Bay Road
Heavy snowfall has
forced the closure of Dyers Pass Road closed, from
the
Sign of the Takahe to Governors Bay Road.
Christchurch
City Council teams are currently assisting motorists
stuck
on the route, and are clearing the snow.
Christchurch is still in for a couple of days of cold
weather and sleety
rain which could cause more
flooding.
We ask all road users to slow down, drive with
care, and be especially
careful when driving through
flooded areas, as the wakes and waves
caused by vehicles
can cause further flooding to already
at-risk
properties.
