Kapti Mayor 'thrilled' at new Air NZ Christchurch

Kāpiti Mayor Jenny Rowan says she is ‘absolutely thrilled’ by Air New Zealand’s announcement today that it is introducing a new daily direct service between Paraparaumu and Christchurch.
“This is fantastic news for Kapiti. We already have flights to Nelson, Blenheim`, Auckland and now a direct daily connection to Christchurch. This will connect families, stimulate business and increase the appeal of Kapiti as a tourism destination and place to live.
“I commend Sir Noel Robinson for his vision in developing the Kapiti Coast Airport and Air New Zealand for making this new service possible through its subsidiary Air Nelson.”
