Forecast storm may disrupt air travel today

Air New Zealand advises that a subtropical storm forecast for the upper North Island this afternoon may disrupt air services today.

The MetService has issued a severe weather warning for Northland, Gisborne, Coromandel Peninsula and Auckland and this has the potential to impact both Air New Zealand jet and regional services to and from Auckland and other upper North Island airports.

Passengers are advised to consult the departures information on the Air New Zealand website or call the contact centre on 0800 737 000.
