A burst water main at the corner of Stuart Street and London Street has affected water supply to a limited number of properties in the area , including Moana Pool, resulting in its closure today.

The burst main has affected London Street from Stuart Street to Haddon Place, Stoutgate and parts of Littlebourne Road.
DCC Water and Waste staff are replacing the broken valve and expect to have the work completed by about 4pm, all going well.

There is a detour in place for traffic travelling onto London Street from Arthur or Stuart Streets, via Cargill Street. Traffic coming up London Street towards Stuart Street is unaffected.

Moana Pool will reopen at its usual time tomorrow morning, unless otherwise advised.
