Christmas in
The Hutt, which is the Wellington region's biggest Christmas
concert runs rain or shine. However, in the event of extreme
weather, a cancellation will be announced on www.christmasinthehutt.org.nz The event is a fun
family show and while people are encouraged to bring their
own food and drink, a liquor ban will be in place. The event
is alcohol, drug and smokefree. Walking or taking public
transport is the best way to get to the Grounds on Myrtle
Street. Some pay parking is available at Hutt Valley High
School on Woburn Road. People can also park on the streets
surrounded Hutt Recreation Grounds but will need to adhere
to parking restrictions and park with consideration of the
residents who live there. Riverbank car park and the
Fountain car park on Laings Road will also be open and are a
short walk from the venue. Keep up to date with the event
