The Waikato District Libraries’ mascot needs a name and we want to hear your suggestions!

For a number of years our kiwi has been a familiar face within our libraries and we have decided it’s time for a name.

What do you think our kiwi should be called? Put forward your suggestion and we will select our favourite name from each Waikato district library; Tuakau, Meremere, Huntly, Te Kauwhata, Ngaruawahia and Raglan.

The six finalists will be announced on 17 January 2014 at a finalists’ party with all entrants invited (details to come) and members of the public will then be asked to vote for their favourite.

The overall winner will be revealed on 28 January 2014.

Entries open Friday 20 December, so pick up an entry form from your local library or download one from our website:www.waikatodc.govt.nz/Facilities/Library/Library-News.aspx

Entries close 15 January and you must be aged 4 - 12 years to enter.
