New Tauranga Chamber of Commerce Board Announced

New President Luke Stewart thanked the outgoing President Paul Bowker and board members Richard Craven, Tracy Preston-Lett, Anne Pankhurst and David Ensor for their service and contribution to the board and welcomed new board members Ian Skelton, Fiona Smith, Grant Jeffrey and Margaret Holmes.

“The new board has a dynamic mix of business skills and I look forward to working with then,” he said. The new Board is looking forward to working with the Chamber Team build on the support it already offers the business community as well as implementing new initiatives in the year ahead to prompt business growth in the region.

The new board came into effect at the Chamber AGM on 25 September 2014.

The new board is:

New President - Luke Stewart (Holland Beckett Lawyers)

Returning Vice President - Toni Palmer (Tabak)

New Vice President - Ron Devlin (New Zealand Fire Service)

New Treasurer – Margaret Holmes (Engine Room Chartered Accountants)

Returning board member - Scott Goodwin (Cooney Lees Morgan)

Returning board member - Murray Clode (Artist)

Returning board member - Peter McKinlay (McKinlay Douglas Ltd)

Returning board member - Phillip Julian (Port of Tauranga)

New board member - Ian Skelton (Crowe Horwath)

New board member - Fiona Smith (Trustpower)

New board member - Grant Jeffrey (Kiwifruit Processing Company Ltd)

Paul Bowker (President), Richard Craven, Tracy Preston-Lett, Anne Pankhurst and David Ensor (Treasurer) did not seek re-election to the board.
