Kicking off at 6am, the Cricket World Cup 2015 Trophy Tour activities include a 72 square metre interactive exhibition on the history of the tournament, cricket skills challenges, giveaways and the chance to get your free photo with the ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy.

Adding star factor to the tour is cricket legends Sir Richard Hadlee, Black Cap Chris Harris, former NZ cricketer Mark Greatbatch. New Zealand White Fern Nicola Browne will also be in the city as the Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour rolls into Hawke’s Bay. All will be at The National Aquarium of New Zealand on Friday morning.

TVNZ’s Breakfast Show weatherman Sam Wallace will be broadcasting live from the event. Hawke’s Bay locals are encouraged to come down to the National Aquarium of New Zealand from 6am to be part of the live action and celebrate the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2015 in Napier.

There will be breakfast stalls, coffee and performances from cultural groups to celebrate the teams who will play in Napier for Cricket World Cup 2015.

Napier Mayor Bill Dalton said he was looking forward to the event. “I can’t wait to see lots of cricket fans, young and old, come and take part in the event. We’re hosting three matches in Napier for the Cricket World Cup next year, and it’s going to be a fantastic time to be in Hawke’s Bay.”
It's been 22 years since New Zealand last hosted the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1992. The trophy tour will travel the length and breadth of the country and is a free event.

Napier will host three matches for Cricket World Cup 2015:
