Celebrate Children’s Day with Lighthouse at-home

Celebrate Children’s Day with Lighthouse at-home

(PR.co.nz) Saturday the 21st March 2015 will be a day full of smiles, laughter and joy for a projected 30,000 people as Lighthouse is set to host another successful Children’s Day event at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland.

The event was a huge hit last year with over 20,000 people attending and this year it is expected to be even bigger and better!

This free entry event will begin at 9:00am and with plenty of free rides, subsidised rides, free activities, free giveaways, free face painting, free popcorn and candy floss, an exciting free show, live animals and so much more – the family friendly fun will continue on all day! For the full list of attractions visit http://www.childrensday.co.nz or to learn more about Lighthouse at-home visit http://www.lighthouseathome.co.nz

CEO of Lighthouse at-home, Grace Xue is clearly passionate about the importance of this event as she has stated “This event was created for the entire community of Auckland because we, not only as Lighthouse but as parents ourselves realised there were very few forums and places for children to go to where they could really celebrate being a child and have a day with their family. We wanted to create an event where children can have a day filled with festivity, enjoyment and activities and for a minimal cost.”

Lighthouse at-home is a home based early childcare service that firmly believes quality early childhood education should be affordable for everyone. The company’s passion towards childcare is evident with their organisation of free events such as Children’s day for families to enjoy.

While this is a Lighthouse event, Children’s day would not be possible without its wonderful co sponsors BNZ and AIA.
