Catch public transport or walk the fan trail to Tuesday’s semi-final
The ICC Cricket World
Cup 2015 is back in Auckland on Tuesday (24 March) with the
first semi-final. Public transport is the easiest way to get
to Eden Park to see the action which starts at 2pm. Travel
on trains and special event buses is included with your
match ticket.
We would recommend that you travel early to avoid the crowds. Tuesday is a normal business day so services are likely to be busy.
Bus
Travel
on special event buses is included with your match ticket.
Services operate to Eden Park starting at around midday from
Auckland City Centre (outside Civic Theatre, Queen St),
Northern Busway stations, Takapuna (Hurstmere Rd by
Wilson’s car park), Manukau (Leyton Way), Pakuranga Plaza,
Botany Town Centre, Newmarket (19 Remuera Rd) and Mt Eden
(train station and
village).

the ride home.
Northern Express
Additional Northern Express buses will operate after midnight on Tuesday departing from Britomart. These extra services are at 12.15am, 12.30, 12.45 and 1.00.
Train
Travel
on trains from midday until the end of services after the
match is included with your ticket. Extra trains will be
provided after the game until the crowds are cleared, and
remember to keep your match ticket for the ride
home.
Western Line:
Additional trains will operate on the Western Line.
After the match, Morningside is the station for all passengers travelling west.
Southern/Eastern Line:
Regular train services operate before the match but there will be extra services from Britomart afterwards.
When the game is over, Kingsland will be the station for passengers heading back to Britomart where they can transfer onto Eastern andSouthern Line trains.
Ferry
The Downtown Ferry Terminal is next to the Britomart Transport Centre; ferry passengers can easily change to a bus or train to get to Eden Park. Normal fares apply on the ferries.
Road closures

Please note there will be some mobility parking available on Cricket Ave.
Cycling and Walking
There is some bike parking at Eden Park and the ground is an easy walk from many of Auckland’s inner suburbs, it’s a comfortable 50 minute walk from Auckland’s city centre.
