St John Youth Face A Challenge At Lincoln University

MEDIA RELEASE: St John Youth Face A Challenge At Lincoln University

2 April 2015

Testing times are coming up for St John Youth Cadets, when the St John National Youth Festival and Competitions gets underway next week.

The Festival will see over 200 St John Youth Cadets, Leaders and other members converge on Christchurch, and Lincoln University, for five days of competitions and fun.

Based at Lincoln University, the Festival includes first aid and health care competitions, where teams from around New Zealand are put through their paces in extremely realistic scenarios.

This year there is an information, communication and technology (ICT) theme to the Festival, and during the Festival attendees will take part in a hui where they will be addressed by Martin Catterrall, St John Chief Information Officer, who joined St John in 2014 after a decade as Director of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) for the World Health Organisation (WHO).
