Winter F.A.W.C!
is on sale! Pre-sale tickets went live at midday on
Wednesday 22nd April and tickets for the general public go

Back for its third successful year, the Winter F.A.W.C! Series will run across the four weekends in June. (Every Friday Sat, Sun, 5th-28th June)
There are 47 events in the 2015 Winter F.A.W.C! programme totalling just over 3000 tickets available to purchase. Events range from $40 to $250 and include everything from food and wine quizzes, themed dinners , cooking classes and food inspired movies to a day at the Races.
Hawke’s Bay Tourism General Manager Annie Dundas said the organisation was looking forward to the third Winter F.A.W.C! series. “We are so pleased to have such a fantastic collection of events in the 2015 winter series schedule, and another stellar line up of local and national culinary superstars in the mix. Both Ruth Pretty and Martin Bosley are back for their second taste of winter and we are delighted to have them participate”. Local chef stars include Kent Baddeley, James Beck, Paolo Pancotti and David Griffiths.
Dundas says one of Hawke’s Bay Tourism’s key objectives is to increase visitor numbers in the off-seasons and believes the four weekends of Winter F.A.W.C! offer many compelling reasons to visit Hawke’s Bay. “Previously Winter F.A.W.C! has attracted approx 30% of participants from out of town and we are hoping to see that figure increase this year”
F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic, is a seasonal event series held twice a year in Hawke’s Bay. Winter F.A.W.C! is held every June and Summer F.A.W.C! every November.
Dining out in Hawke’s Bay will also take on a F.A.W.C! flavour in June with participating restaurants offering “F.A.W.C! by 5” specials. Menu offerings will be in multiples of $5. Restaurants include The Farm at Cape Kidnappers, Mamacita, and St.George’s Restaurant with many more to be announced.
