Tauranga Chamber of Commerce announces new CEO

The Tauranga Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Stan Gregec to the role of Chief Executive taking over from interim CEO Toni Palmer.

Mr Gregec brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been actively involved in Tauranga business since 1995, including establishing the NZTE office in Tauranga, working for the Chamber previously as Regional Business Advisor, General Manager of Tauranga based manufacturing and exporting business Atlantis Bathroom Style. Mr Gregec has recently returned to Tauranga after two years in Australia.

Mr Gregec’s experience in strategic leadership, exporting, manufacturing and the delivery of technology based services, together with his involvement in SME in many sectors made him stand out above other candidates.

The Chamber Board expresses their thanks to Toni Palmer and the Chamber staff who have ensured the Chamber continued to provide member services in a seamless manner over the period.

Mr Gregec will take up his new role on 29 June 2015.
