Hutt City Libraries hosts Google exec tech talk

Hutt City Libraries is set to host Google Community and Outreach Program Manager Sally-Ann Williams, in an exclusive public talk on how technology and tech careers are changing the world, ahead of the Google Partnership Summit next month.

The public session will take place at the War Memorial Library on Tuesday 7 July at 6pm, and is free to the public.

Williams will share her expertise on the future of technology and provide a Google perspective on how New Zealand should position itself ahead of the movement.

The visit is part of a wider science and tech movement in Hutt City, with Hutt City Libraries pioneering digital literacy programmes and initiatives for the city’s future leaders.

Sandra Mann, Divisional Manager, Libraries says “Gaining insight into the future of technology is vital to success in the 21st century; tech careers are evolving at a rapid pace and we’re exceptionally lucky to have Sally-Ann’s knowledge.”
