SH2 Waioeka Gorge to Otoko CLOSED due to snow
The NZ Transport advises motorists that SH2 Waioeka Gorge to Otoko (between Gisborne and Opotiki) is closed due to snow and icy conditions.
The closure is on the eastern side of the gorge near Matawai.
Contractors are monitoring the road however it is not expected to reopen tilltomorrow morning at the earliest.
