A jam-packed week of events at City Gallery
It’s a jam-packed week of events at City Gallery.
First up, the panel of artists, gallerists

On Satruday, we have events to mark the closing weekend of the exhibition Unseen City, including a talk with Tim Shadbolt and Bob Harveywho share memories of 1960s Auckland and their days as mayor in Auckland, and later in the evening photographers Gary Baigent and Ann Shelton discuss their photobooks of Auckland.

Pina Bausch Film Series (in partnership with NZ Festival)
Talk to
Her
Sunday 13 March, 11am and 2pm | Free, no bookings
required.
Pina Bausch appears as herself in the opening scene of Talk To Her, performing in Café Müller while two strangers meet in the audience. Each of these strangers will become a caregiver for a woman trapped in a coma, and if this sounds a restrained premise for a drama, count on Almodóvar to prove otherwise. Obsession, moral jeopardy, soulful comedy and sexual transgression: restraint is not this director’s thing at all. DIR. Pedro Almódovar| Spain | 2002 | 112min | R13 | Subtitled
