Big ideas for small plots
Big ideas for small plots
4 April 2016
The stunningly landscaped gardens at Tupare, one of New Plymouth’s iconic heritage properties, will provide inspiration for home gardeners at a free public workshop on Sunday (10 April).
The two-hour workshop will focus on urban planting, and participants will share useful tips and advice on selecting and planting small trees to suit an urban garden. Plenty of examples will be found in the exquisite gardens that make up Tupare.
Sunday’s workshop runs from 2pm to 4pm at Tupare, 487 Mangorei Road, New Plymouth. It is part of a year-round series of free public events at Tupare, Pukeiti and Hollard Gardens, the three heritage properties owned and administered by the Taranaki Regional Council on behalf of the people of the region.
For more information see www.tupare.nz, www.hollardgardens.nz and www.pukeiti.nz. You can also follow the gardens on Facebook (Taranaki Regional Gardens) and Twitter (@TaanakiRG).
