Auckland Future Selects Waitemata Local Board Ticket
AUCKLAND FUTURE SELECTS WAITEMATA LOCAL BOARD TICKET
Auckland Future, the centre right ticket contesting the Auckland Council elections, will stand seven candidates to contest the Waitemata Local Board.
Sitting local board member, Greg Moyle, will be joined by lawyers Stella Chan, Judith Bassett and Alasdair Long; urban planner and researcher Dr Mark Davey; chief technology and operating officer for Turners and Growers, Jonathan Good and advertising executive and committed environmentalist Chris Severne.
Auckland Future chairman, Peter Tong said the depth of talent represented in this candidate lineup speaks volumes for what Auckland Future can deliver for voters in the ward and across the city.
“This is one of the most impressive lineups of talent we have seen,” he said. “They will be campaigning alongside independent candidate Bill Ralston who is endorsed by Auckland Future.”
“The residents of Newmarket, Parnell, the CBD, Grafton, Freemans and St Marys Bay, Ponsonby, Herne Bay, Grey Lynn and Westmere deserve the strongest of advocates on their local board,” he said. “With this talented team we can deliver for them.”
