Te Rito Rodney Network Seminar – Orewa 31st August

Tēnā koutou – our next Te Rito Rodney network seminar is on Wednesday 31st August in Orewa.

We are lucky to be having Julia Masters presenting on Elder Abuse and Neglect, which is the insidious mistreatment of some older people in our communities. It is very much Not Ok and there is a need for us all to be aware of signs which may indicate that an older person is suffering at the hands of someone who they trust.

Julia will be speaking on behalf of Age Concern Rodney and is a retired Social Worker who spent five years as the Elder Abuse and Neglect Coordinator at Age Concern North Shore.
