Three to contest Hastings mayoralty
Three
people will contest the Hastings Mayoralty at the Local
Elections in October.
Nominations for the 2016 Local
Elections closed at midday today with long serving Mayor
Lawrence Yule facing a challenge from Adrienne Pearce and
Guy Wellwood.
The following nominations have been
received:
Mayor: (one vacancy) Lawrence Yule, Adrienne Pierce, Guy Wellwood
Flaxmere Ward (two positions) Lynlee Aitcheson-Johnson, Henare O'Keefe; Jacoby Poulain
