TMC Trailers Ltd Trucking 2016 is set to break records for truck shows in New Zealand. Entry’s for the truck show & shine already exceeds the 2014 Show
This premium show is proving that the industry is proud to open the doors for the day and show the public behind the scenes. Truck drivers are professional and this is a day to celebrate them. They play the most important part of the economy by keeping the wheels turning up and down the country 24/7.
New this year is the activities for the kids. Heavy Trucks have a giant bouncy truck that looks like something from out of space as it towers over the Western Star. Heavy Trucks and Road Metals have got together to build a giant sandpit filled with treasure. Fulton Hogan and 3M have built roadways for kid’s scooters outside and inside a roadway for the RC Haulers to demonstrate their real life model working trucks. Fonterra and Resene paints have constructed a giant paint by numbers canvas. Civil Contractors have sponsored Doug the Digger so kids will be able to have a go in a real digger.
Working displays include static and working. They include, Logging truck, cranes, diggers, transporters and more. TR Group is demonstrating their roll over prevention program.
The exhibitor hall is packed with over 84 trade suppliers of product and services on show.
New trucks feature inside the main exhibitor hall they include Western Star, Hino, Scania, Mack and outside we have UD, Mercedes, Freightliner, Fuso.
The new Tarping Competition is attracting entries from all over New Zealand. The individuals will face off in the morning with the teams competing in the afternoon.
Canterbury Civil Contractors have joined the show this year and will be holding their National Excavator Competition.
Classic Trucks will feature and are always an attraction along with a new Category the UTE SHOW & SHINE.

For one day the trucking industry is opening their doors. Everyone is welcome!
Entry is by minimum Gold coin per person and proceeds go to Ronald McDonald House SI and Child Cancer Canterbury, along with smaller charities on the day.
