24 November 2016
For Immediate Release.
Christmas has come to Wellington Regional Hospital and Wellington Children's Hospital
Wellington Hospital Foundation volunteers have spent two days preparing Wellington Hospital and Wellington Children’s Hospital for Christmas.
Staff from Spark New Zealand and Contact Energy gave up a day from work to help decorate the 60 Christmas trees that feature in the Hospital Atrium.
In addition to the Christmas trees and lights a Nativity Scene has been put in place and there is a throne for Santa who will be visiting Wellington Hospital and Children’s Hospital from 8th of December. Santa will be ably assisted by Hospi Wellington Children’s Hospital mascot.
A big thanks to these awesome people from Spark New Zealand and Contact Energy for volunteering to help us bring Christmas to Wellington Hospitals Atrium and Wellington Children's Hospital!
