Santa Parade this Sunday....
The City Rail Link construction work underway in Albert Street means this year’s Santa Parade Route will take a right turn from Queen Street into Customs Street East, not the usual left turn and parade ending in Albert St.
The Farmers Santa Parade begins at 1 pm this Sunday, 27 November, from the corner of Cook Street and Mayoral Drive, turns left into Queen Street, travels down Queen Street and then right into Customs Street East, ending at the corner of Britomart Place.
Michael Barnett, Chairman of the Auckland Children’s Christmas Parade Trust, encourages Aucklanders to turn out.
“Santa Claus will be supported by 4000 others taking part in the parade – it will be great family entertainment and a fun day.”
