Wither Hills Farm Park closed until further notice
Marlborough District Council has closed all Wither Hills Farm Park recreational tracks until further notice, due to the predicted gale force winds and elevated fire risk.
Marlborough-Kaikoura Rural District Fire Authority has advised council that based on the predicted wind strength forecast and the super-dry conditions, it would be advisable to close the park.
Signs will be put up at the track entrances. The public is advised not to use any tracks in the park until council reopens them, hopefully later this week.
