Man Seriously Hurt at MotorCross Event
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to a motocross event near Matata today, to treat a 42yr old Tauranga man, who had fallen from his trail bike. He sustained serious injuries to the right side of his body and was flown to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition. On site medics prepared a landing area for the helicopter and stabilised the man who was located in a forest. Due to the remote area of the incident and time critical nature of the mans injuries, the Helicopter was the best mode of transport.

thanks to Rotorua’s principal sponsor, BayTrust. This
