Emergency repair works on Arawhata/Kapiti Roads
Council crews are carrying out emergency repairs on a burst water pipe on Arawhata Road near Kāpiti Road. It’s taking longer than first anticipated which means around 40 houses Arawhata Road are affected and residents may be without water until later this evening. Traffic management will remain in place overnight to enable our team to reinstate the road surface once the pipe is fixed.
Our team is working as fast as they can to fix the pipe and get the water back on. We’re advising locals to expect delays on Kapiti Road tonight and possibly in the morning, so please allow a little extra time for your journey. Please follow our Facebook page for further updates
