Sport Bay of Plenty hosts breakfasts to say thanks

Volunteers are vital to the growth and success of our sport and recreation community, and to say thanks Sport Bay of Plenty is hosting a series of breakfasts around the region.

In conjunction with National Volunteer Week, which is held 18-24 June, a free breakfast will be put on in the Eastern, Central and Western Bay to acknowledge the hard working individuals who donate their time. The cost of the breakfast is covered by schools and clubs as a way to say thank you to their volunteers.

National Volunteer Week is an annual awareness week which recognises and celebrates the vital contribution of New Zealand’s approximately 1.2 million volunteers in areas as diverse as social development, the economy and the environment.

If schools or clubs would like to register their volunteers for a breakfast shout, please see the details below. Breakfast costs $15 per person.
