Lack of Nominations in By-Election Concerning
A by-election is scheduled to be held on Saturday 17 February 2018 to fill an extraordinary vacancy for one member of the Hanmer Springs Community Board. Nominations for the position opened on 23 November 2017, and to date no nominations have been received.
Nominations close at 12noon on 22 December 2017. Interested parties are encouraged to submit their nominations as soon as possible before this deadline. The vacancy on the Board was due to Chris Preston’s resignation. The Hanmer Springs Community Board is the only community board in the Hurunui district.
