Kelvin French has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at Waikato Local Authority Shared Services (WLASS) and will take up this position on 1 June.

Chair of WLASS, Waikato District Council’s Chief Executive Gavin Ion, welcomed Kelvin’s appointment: “Kelvin, who lives in Hamilton, has held senior finance and tax roles within the Waikato including with AgResearch and PwC,” he said.
“Kelvin has notably strong financial, risk and tax management experience and a track record of leading diverse and talented teams. He has a depth of experience within the private and public sectors. We are very pleased to welcome him to the team,” said Mr Ion.

WLASS is a company owned by twelve councils – Waikato Regional, Hamilton City, Hauraki District, Matamata Piako District, Otorohanga District, Rotorua District, South Waikato District, Taupo District, Thames Coromandel District, Waikato District, Waipa District and Waitomo District.
