Health Precinct development opportunity

Health Precinct development opportunity

Ōtākaro Limited wants to hear from parties with the ability and passion to deliver a top-quality health-related development on the high-profile Health Precinct site at 36-44 Oxford Terrace.

“Bordered by the paved promenade of the Avon River Precinct and two major central city streets a site this prominent is hard to come by,” says u Limited Strategy and Property Opportunities General Manager, Keith Beal.

Located within the Central City (South Frame) Mixed Use Zone, 36-44 Oxford Terrace has a total land area of approximately 1,763m2.

The site is around 250 metres from Christchurch Hospital, the new Outpatients building and new Health Research Education Facility (HREF).

“We now want to hear from prospective developers and potential tenants who believe they can further enhance the Health Precinct for the researchers, students, clinicians, patients and visitors using the area,” says Mr Beal.

Health Precinct Advisory Council Chairman, Dr. Ian Town says the site presents another exciting opportunity for Te Papa Hauora/Health Precinct.

“The site will book-end a world-class precinct founded on collaboration and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to create a private sector presence to complement the multi-million-dollar Crown investment in clinical services.”

A formal EOI process will be open until 12pm Friday, 27 July 2018. Interested parties can find more information at www.otakaroltd.co.nz/oxfordtce
