Tell us what you really think

The consultation process for Council’s 2018-28 Long Term Plan Consultation closes at 5pm on Monday 14 May.

Mayor John Leggett says there’s still time for people to have their say.

“I strongly encourage people to give us their feedback - positive or negative - on the proposals contained in the Consultation Document. In particular, I’d like to hear from those who support one of our proposed projects or current level of service.”

“There are many proposals in there which will affect everyone in some way. We don’t just want to hear from those opposed to a single item.”

“The submission form makes it easy to feed back – there are a series of questions about each section in the Consultation Document that are simple to fill in and answer.”

“So far we’ve received nearly 50 submissions – I hope that number will increase considerably over the next few days.”

People are encouraged to make a submission online – go to www.marlborough.govt.nz/your-council/have-your-say-consultations

Alternatively a hard copy of the submission form can be downloaded from our website or picked up from Council’s Blenheim or Picton offices, or Marlborough Libraries. Submissions close at 5:00 pm on Monday 14 May.
