Upper Hutt’s H2O Xtream aquatic centre has a weekend of big events lined up before closing for 8 weeks of maintenance.

UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 16 JUL 2018—This weekend is your last chance to swim at H2O Xtream before it closes for maintenance.

Aqua Beatz— Friday 21 July, 7.00 – 10.00 pm

A night of entertainment is planned with Capital Disco as DJ. There will be spot prizes, games, and giveaways. Free slides as well as inflatables, and the spa pool open to all ages.

Xtream Toddler Time—Saturday 22 July, 8.30 – 10.30 am

This event is specifically for parents and caregivers of children aged under 5 years. The waves are turned off for the event and the slides are open. Entry is $4 per child and slides are free. One swimming adult per child is also free.

The Hits Pool Party—Saturday 22 July, 11.00 am – 2.00 pm

A Pool Party with free entry. There will be lots of entertainment and giveaways during this time.

Women Only Swim Night—Sunday 23 July, 7.00 – 9.00 pm

The last Women Only Swim Night session before closure will have a different format than usual. Staff will start emptying the pools from 8.00 pm, so only the spa, steam room, and sauna will be available from this time onwards. The Lifestyle Health and Fitness team will be hosting a talk on women’s health, personal training, and what the gym can offer. A consultant from Nutrimetics will be on site to demonstrate some products. A light supper will also be provided.

Swimming at Hutt City Pools

This week is also the last week to sign up for membership at Hutt City Pools during the closure. A $100 membership allows unlimited entry to Stokes Valley, Naenae, and Huia pools, and includes their pool group fitness classes. To sign up, a form needs to be completed and payment made at H2O Xtream reception by Friday 20 July.

H2O Xtream reception will be available during the closure period at the Upper Hutt i-SITE (Expressions Whirinaki) on weekdays from 9.00 am – 4.00 pm. Bookings for Wavebreakers Swim School and the H2O Xtream holiday programme can be made, as well as any general queries.
